26 Mar Surgiva with SAT and “Freeze the Future” for the International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation
Surgiva proudly supports the initiative “Freeze the Future,” launched by SAT (Tridentine Mountaineering Society) to promote awareness and inspire concrete actions for the protection of glaciers.
On March 21st, in honor of the International Glaciers’ Day, SAT headquarters in Trento hosted an official press conference to launch the project. The event was followed by the opening of a photographic exhibition entitled “Observe. Think. Act.“, highlighting the fragility and beauty of glaciers. This significant event provided both the media and the public a closer view of SAT’s commitment, along with its partners—including Surgiva, Gruppo Lunelli’s water— towards the safeguarding of these essential ecosystems.
On the same day, the social media campaign “Freeze the Future” was presented as part of a series of initiatives planned for 2025, which the United Nations has designated as the International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation. This program includes conferences and immersive experiences organized in collaboration with the Glaciological Commission, all aimed at fostering widespread public awareness about this critical issue.
