Surgiva awards the lifetime achievement prize to Zur Rose on the occasion of the presentation of the ‘Venezie a Tavola’ Guide 2025

Acqua Surgiva, which has always been close to the best restaurants, awarded the Zur Rose restaurant in San Michele Appiano during the presentation of the ‘Venezie a Tavola’ 2025 Guide, held on Monday October 21st at Cantine Ferrari.

A historical guide that aims to showcase the excellence of the Tre Venezie without giving votes but mentioning high quality restaurants, pizzerias, wines and typical products that enhance and tell the soul of these lands.

Surgiva sponsored the career award, assigned to Herbert Hintner of the Zur Rose restaurant for his farsightedness in creating a refined place of haute cuisine, an example for the following generations of great cuisine and classy hospitality.

The chef, now flanked by his son Daniel, has made the exaltation of South Tyrolean regional cuisine his cooking philosophy, interpreting it with ever new creativity. There is no shortage of great classics in his restaurant, but it is in the ‘Father and Son’ tasting menu that tradition and territory are celebrated in an absolutely unique way.

Surgiva is the ideal water to be served on the tables of restaurants of this calibre, because thanks to its lightness, given by the very low fixed residue, it enhances the flavours of dishes and wines without covering them up. This award is therefore a further recognition of Italian and regional food and wine traditions, which make our country unique in the world for variety and excellence.
